Connection Design Parameters

Before you can start the design of the connections, the parameters of each connection must be specified.

For this, "types of steel joints" are defined that are based on a modular system of parameters.

With the current settings, the program verifies the design resistances of each connection according to EN 1993‑1‑1 and EN 1993‑1‑8. They are based on the internal forces of the ULS design situation. Furthermore, it is possible to determine the initial stiffness S_j,ini and classify the connection.
